  • Use compiler options to create a listing. Preferably, one that checks bounds and cross references. The resultant file has a lower case "L" as the extension (suffix). A typical compiler command is illustrated below for the ncar graphics library using FORTRAN 77:

    • Similar to Problem set 6 (except 101 pts in x and in y):
      Initial Condition in .gif format.
      Unstable sigma=2./1.8 at t=0.73 units in .gif format.
